April 15th – 21nd at Quest Air in Florida

One of the hottest competitions in hang gliding, the Flytec meet draws the finest pilots from around the world for seven days of world class flying.

At over 100 pilots, Flytec can only be described as massive.
It takes 14 dedicated tow planes and a host of ground crew to get these pilots in the air in an hour so they can compete together. When the greenlight is given to take off, the airfield turns into a beehive of controlled mayhem. For the next hour, Quest Air becomes the busiest airport in the world.

After hours, Quest is party central. What else would you expect if hundreds of your friends dropped by for a week? Live music, catered meals, various surprise activities and the usual summertime stlye activities abound (this is FL after all... it's warm). Those interested more in quiet simply wander over to the Quieter parts of Quest (like down by the lake). Much like the competition, Quest itself is huge ;)

Accommodations vary from staying at the clubhouse to onsite camping to onsite RVs to local hotels. Whatever suits your tastes.
